. And there was no way I was going to stand there on my aching feet and wait until the driver came back. So I did what any woman of true refinement would do; I chucked the presents in the back and I crawled in on the passenger side. It's called "The Internet".
If you are living in the city of the Big Apple, and you are planning to buy a second-hand vehicle, then one of the best places to go is a car auction in New York. These places are filled with plenty of excellent quality and good-running-condition vehicles that are offered for sale at dirt-cheap prices.
Most units scheduled for bidding in these places are cars seized by some government agents from people caught in the act of committing unlawful activities; some are seized by the IRS agents from citizens who evaded or unable to pay their taxes. Other units are repossessed by various banks and financial institutions from delinquent borrowers and clients who failed to pay their loans.
Since storage of these vehicles can cause the concerned institutions huge expenses that is why these seized and recovered assets are offered for auction in one of the numerous car auctions in New York; at incredibly very low starting bid prices in order to easily dispose them. It's not football, baseball, or boxing. It's trying to find a parking spot at the mall on a Saturday afternoon in December.

I was zero and one in the parking lot, so I thought I'd give the parking structure a try. Since it was, without question, the worst possible parking space in the mall, my victory seemed shallow. I locked my car with slow resignation and headed off for the long, long, walk to the mall entrance.
When I finally I returned to my car, feet throbbing and arms loaded with holiday gifts, I stopped dead in my tracks. Parked next to my vehicle, in a spot clearly marked "COMPACT CAR" was an SUV that made my SUV look like Mini-Me.
There must be a way to send someone to traffic school for unlawful parking spot imprisonment.
There was no way I could open my driver's side door.

what is the standard parking stall size in Lima, Peru?
Are the drive aisles and cars similar to American sizes or more compact?
I found this one interesting. One reason is because there isn't a standard size parking stall, even here in the US. It is usually left up to the designer, but there are guidelines set forth by the Institute of Transportation Engineers for the size of parking stalls. This is an international orginization, so it would make sense that the parameters would be similar anywhere. The width and length parameters vary based on all sorts of things, is it parallel parking, 45 degree, 90 degree, etc. Also is the drive aisle behind the stalls one way, two way, etc.
So while I don't know for sure, I would guess that they would still fall in these guidelines, so therefore be similar in size. Of course we Americans trend to be extravagant sometimes, so ours could possibly be bigger, although with developers trying to squeeze in every space they can to meet guidelines while making their stores as big as possible, you never know.
